James Coupe
Your Dental Implants Dentist
James qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital, London (UMDS) in 1998 and joined 740 Dental as a partner in 2008 after spending 10 years in Ferndown. He has been placing dental implants since 2003 and now works exclusively on referral, providing advanced implant and full restorative rehabilitation treatments for both functional and aesthetic cases.
James is a highly experienced Implant Surgeon and an Invisalign Platinum Provider, delivering a full range of advanced treatments including same-day smiles, cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation.
A pioneer of digital dentistry, James has worked with fully digital workflows since 2008. Every implant and restorative procedure is pre-planned using 3D CBCT scans, iTero digital scanning and advanced CEREC technology, allowing patients to preview their results and ensuring exceptional accuracy, safety and outcomes.
James is committed to continuous professional development and is affiliated with the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Association of Dental Implantology, British Association of Private Dentistry, International Digital Dentistry Association and British Dental Association.

Richard Halderthay
Richard graduated from Manchester University in 1996 and became a partner at 740 Dental in 2003. He has over 30 years’ experience in dentistry.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular focus on family dentistry and cosmetic treatments, delivered in a relaxed and friendly environment. Richard’s aim is to provide pain-free treatment while helping patients feel completely at ease. Many of his patients have been with him since childhood, and he now has the pleasure of caring for their own children’s teeth.
Outside of dentistry, Richard has a strong passion for sport. He holds a season ticket at AFC Bournemouth and enjoys spending Saturday afternoons cheering them on with his son, Josh. He also enjoys running and going to the gym.
Richard is married to Sharon, who also works at 740 Dental. They have two grown-up children, Josh and Olivia, who both live and work in London. While they miss them now they are away, they enjoy regular trips to visit and spend time together.
Richard is a member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Sharon Halderthay
Sharon has been a dentist at 740 Dental since the late 1990s and has built long-standing relationships with generations of patients over the years.
She provides both general and cosmetic dental treatments and believes that kindness and empathy are essential qualities in dentistry. Sharon is passionate about ensuring every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and has a positive experience whenever they visit.
Sharon considers herself very lucky to have been part of the 740 Dental team for so many years and feels privileged to call many of her patients her friends.
Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, looking after her husband Richard, their two children and their two dogs, and going on long walks. She is an avid reader, with favourite authors including P.G. Wodehouse and Agatha Christie, and has a particular love for the 1920s as her favourite period in history.
Sharon is a member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Sophia Johnston
Sophia enjoys the variety of work that general practice offers and provides general and cosmetic dental treatments, with expertise in Invisalign clear aligner treatment. She also has a special interest in children’s dentistry and facial aesthetics, including anti-wrinkle treatments.
Sophia is passionate about creating a calm and reassuring experience for every patient and particularly enjoys helping those who experience dental anxiety or phobias. She strongly believes in ongoing postgraduate education and continually develops her skills to ensure her patients benefit from the most up-to-date dental techniques.
Sophia grew up in South Africa and Greece before moving to Scotland to study Dentistry at the University of Dundee. Over the past 10 years, she has delivered family dental care and aesthetic dentistry in Fife, Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. She has now chosen to settle in sunny Dorset with her family, where she enjoys coastal living and the beach lifestyle.
Sophia is a member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Raquel Valentim
Raquel is an experienced general dentist, who will make you feel relaxed and comfortable during your visit and guide you to make the best choices when it comes to your dental health. She provides a holistic approach in her practice, which means that her services are tailored to your individual needs. Raquel has received further training in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and uses the latest techniques to help her patients achieve a natural and beautiful smile. You’ll be able to talk to her about teeth straightening, teeth whitening, composite bonding, among others Raquel’s work has been recognized by her peers and was awarded Case of the Month from Dental Circle.
In her personal life, Raquel has been living in the New Forest for many years and has a young family of two incredibly energetic children and two charismatic cats. She loves spending time with her family and going for walks and cycling adventures in the New Forest.
Raquel works alongside with Invisalign , Itero scanning, Mismile and Cerec.
Raquel is a member of British Orthodontic Society, British Society Of Sleep Medicine,Women’s Dental Network, BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Adrianna Richards
Dr Adrianna Poniatowicz-Richards qualified as a dentist in 2004 at the Medical University of Białystok in Poland. After graduating, she worked in busy practices in her home city, building a strong foundation in general dentistry.
She moved to the UK in 2008 and continued her dental career in Torquay before settling in Dorset in 2012, and working in New Milton for the last 14 years. Adrianna enjoys getting to know her patients and has built long-standing relationships with many of them over the years.
Adrianna enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic treatments. Adrianna enjoys creating a calm, friendly experience for every patient she treats. She is passionate about continuing her professional development and regularly attends courses to keep her skills and knowledge up to date.
Outside of work, Adrianna is a busy mum to two girls and enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She loves travelling, being outdoors and making the most of coastal life — from beach walks to swimming in the sea and enjoying everything Dorset has to offer.

Kate Waddicor-Roberts
Kate attended Cardiff Dental School in 2006 & gained her Combined Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy in 2009. She has been at 740 Dental for the 15 years since then! She loves treating and chatting with her patients and now many simply feel like friends.
She has recently brought her first home, a small flat in Wimborne, and she cannot wait to move into with her little girl, once it’s had a good lick of paint!
She enjoys cooking, crime dramas, spending time with her family, taking her daughter on little adventures & Sauvignon Blanc!

Loraine Konsbruck
Loraine was born &raised in Birmingham, and it was at the Birmingham Dental Hospital that she qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1986.
On qualifying she moved to live & work in Worcester.
In April 1990 she decided to spend the summer in Bournemouth& she’s still here.
Loraine lives with her husband & cat in Christchurch & can often be seen running around the local area, as this is one of her main hobbies out of work.
When not out running, she is to be found tending to her garden or out socialising & eating cake. She also loves her holidays with Florida & the Greek Islands being her destinations of choice.

Gill Austin
Gill has been working in dentistry for over 20 years. She started her dental career as a trainee dental nurse for Ken Griffiths right here at 740 Dental in 1996. She went on to qualify as a dental nurse under Ken’s expert guidance and loved her job. Realising she wanted to gain valuable experience and spread her wings Gill moved to London at 21 and worked in Knightsbridge which really was an exciting experience! Realising how much she enjoyed working in dentistry and wanting to push herself further she applied to study dental hygiene.
In 2005 Gill qualified as a dental hygienist with distinction from Kings College in London.
She started her career as a dental hygienist working in Berkshire and then Nottingham, gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge working in NHS, private and specialist practices. Gill enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in dental implants, helping her patients to look after their own after working in a specialist implant practice. She also enjoys whitening teeth which she does here in house at 740 dental.
Gill is registered with the GDC and is a member of The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She also regularly attends dental courses and conferences and keeps abreast of her skills by keeping her continued professional development updated.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, keeping fit by running and doing Pilates & Country walks involving a good pub! Gill also enjoys her other passion which is holistic therapies and has her own natural skin care business. She also enjoys a trip to the cinema, travelling, reading and cooking for people she loves.
Gill has worked at 740 dental practice since 2018 and looks forward to seeing all of her patients old and new.

Laura O´Grady
Laura was born in Bournemouth and has since lived here all her life. She first stepped through the doors of 740 Dental when she was 15 years old for her school work experience. Having done many years of volunteering with 740 following completion of her A-Levels she joined 740 full time to start her Dental Nursing National Diploma which she achieved in 2015. After qualifying she became Dr Andrew Prynne’s full time nurse and continued working with him and the rest of the team at 740 until 2017 when she gained a place at the Eastman Dental Institute to study Dental hygiene and therapy.
Her training took her to London however she always knew she wanted to come home and be by the sea! After qualifying as a Dental Hygienist in 2019 she returned to the Eastman part time to finish her Dental Therapy and dual qualified in both hygiene and therapy in March 2020.
When the opportunity came up to return to 740 Laura jumped at the chance and will be returning to work here 2 days a week.
Laura and her partner Niall are busy planning their wedding abroad in June 2024. Outside of work Laura loves spending time with friends and family and also loves travelling something which she hopes to do lots more of in the future.

Meet the Team

Becky Wolverson
Becky has been working within dentistry for over 15 years. She has been a dental nurse for the majority of this time including being Head Dental Nurse at 740 before taking on the TCO role.
Becky loves helping people achieve their smiles that they always dreamed of and putting nervous patients at ease.
Becky has lived in the Bournemouth area for all of her life and loves nothing more than being close to the beach. In her spare time, Becky enjoys taking her hyperactive Labradoodle Jasper for long walks, playing tennis and cosy weekends at home with her husband and son.

Lisa Martin
Lisa is our longest serving dental nurse, who got her first love for teeth at 15, as a work experience student here. She has worked for many happy years with James Coupe. Her favourite part of dentistry is seeing a smiling patient finish their treatment, and running a clean and tidy surgery.
She is a born and raised Bournemouth girl, who adores the beach, no matter the weather. Also enjoys long walks, cycling, live rock music and yoga.
Lisa lives with the loves of her life David, and her little boy who she adores. She’s a traditional girl, who spends her Sundays with family, enjoying pizza and horror movies.

Marzena Fraszczak
Marzena was born in Poland and at the age of 26 she moved to Bournemouth.
She started her dental nurse career in 2010 at a NHS practice in Poole followed by another NHS practice in Bournemouth. She qualified in 2013 (National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN) and then joined 740 Dental where she gained new skills, experience and improved nursing skills.
What Marzena loves the most about her job is helping and caring for our patients, offering comfort and helping them relax when in the dental chair.
In her spare time Marzena likes cycling, hiking in the mountains, visiting castles and doing crosswords.

Bianca Ciobanu
Bianca came to England in 2014 with her partner and worked in retail and hospitality, but she wanted to change her career and chose dentistry.
She was so excited to begin her dental nurse role which she began in 2017 working in a small private practice. After a couple of years Bianca wanted a change and joined 740 Dental in October 2020 as she wanted to gain more experience in her dentistry career .
In her spare time Bianca loves to cook and to take professional photos for her food Instagram page. She also loves cycling and walking in the nature.

Kiery Parrett
Originally from Christchurch, Kiery has been a dedicated dental nurse for the past three years.
She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoys building positive relationships with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and well looked after. Always eager to learn, she values the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills in the dental field each day.
Outside of work, she enjoys going on walks, spending time with friends, trying new foods, and relaxing with an iced matcha.

Chloe Teuber
Chloe has called Bournemouth home her whole life and feels most at peace by the sea – preferably with an iced coffee in hand.
Her journey into dental nursing began at reception, but seeing the nurses support patients so closely inspired her to swap the desk for scrubs. Now with over 5 years of dental nursing experience she has never looked back since! With a calm, can-do attitude, she’s always ready to lend a hand and help make patients feel relaxed and cared for.
Outside of work, Chloe loves catching up with friends over good food (and a cocktail or two), finding new places to eat, and planning her next sunny holiday.

Aimee White
Aimee was born in Bournemouth, and has always loved living by the coast.
Before starting her journey in dental nursing, she worked in a café where she discovered how much she enjoys meeting new people and creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Wanting a career where she could support others and learn new skills, she decided to take the leap into dentistry — and hasn’t looked back since!
Outside of work, she enjoys going on holidays, catching up with friends over good food and drinks, and spending time in the kitchen baking sweet treats.

Ellen Lucas
Ellen was born in Bournemouth and grew up with her twin sister staying local to sunny Avon beach.
Prior to dental nursing Ellen studied a level 3 extended diploma in hospitality and events. Ellen is passionate about interacting with people & providing a high level of care which is in her nature.
She decided hospitality wasn’t building a career due to covid and would set her back. She had always had a slight interest in dental nursing but never went for it , she then took the bull by the horn and jumped right in at 740 dental.
Ellen enjoys socialising and going for lunch/ dinner and drinks. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and discover pretty places to go for walks.

Abi Foxhall
Abi has lived in the Bournemouth area all her life and spends most of her time at the beach, recently taking up (and failing) paddle boarding.
She started her health care career working in Radiology, after 4 years she moved on to begin a degree in paramedic science, after a year on the ambulance she hung up her hi vis and steel toe cap boots and searched for a slightly calmer career path. She began dental nursing beginning of 2024 and has loved it ever since.
Abi loves spending time with her friends, partner, and her nieces and nephew, and enjoys discovering new walks with her two dogs, Dylan & Dougie, with a pub garden waiting for her at the end!

Ellie Sewell
Ellie was born in Poole and has lived there all her life. She is the eldest of six siblings, so she is extremely family-orientated. She also owns a very mischievous Cavapoo who adds to her family’s “mad house”.
Ellie started her journey in dental nursing after working in beauty-based retail since the age of 16. She has always loved meeting and interacting with new people as well as helping people build their confidence. After leaving her last role as a beauty advisor at the beginning of 2025, she decided it was the perfect time to take the plunge and jump into the dentistry field!
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys socialising and going for drinks especially when the sun is out! On her days off, she will most likely be at the beach with her dog, Roscoe.

Holly Moss
Holly has lived locally to Bournemouth her whole life. She loves to stay active with running and dancing being her favourite hobbies. The beach is one of her favourite places to be and enjoys going out with friends.
Prior to Dental Nursing, she studied in London for 3 years and earned a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. With a passion for working with people, she was ready for a fresh challenge to pursue a career in dental nursing and decided to jump straight in at 740 Dental.
In her spare time you will often find her in the kitchen, usually baking cakes or cookies.

Meet the Team

Andrea Korn
Andrea was born in Rustington West Sussex, and brought up in the nearby small market town of Arundel.
At the age of 17, Andrea moved to London to train as a dental nurse at the Eastman Dental School and once she completed the training Andrea moved back to West Sussex and nursed in various private and NHS practices. In August 2008 Andrea got a transfer within her corporate dental company and relocated to Poole, Dorset to be with her partner Niel, during this time she received a promotion to manage two dental practices in Bournemouth. Through the next few years Andrea gained further promotions and went onto to become Multi Site Manager for Dorset and then finally Compliance Manager covering the South East.
In 2014 the corporate dental company made the Compliance Manager role redundant so Andrea took a Practice Managers role within the company, which also gave Andrea the chance to re evaluate her work/life balance. In July 2015 Andrea made the jump to move from the corporate firm she had worked in for the last 10 years and joined 740 Dental …and Andrea hasn’t looked back since J.
Andrea & her partner Niel have spent the last few years renovating their home together in Poole, and in 2020 they adopted their fur baby Teddy who they adore. Outside of work Andrea enjoys nothing more than travelling, socializing with her family and friends and even the odd glass of wine.

Carolyne Evans
Carolyne was born in Barton-on-Sea and grew up locally, spending Summers at her family beach hut at Mudeford sandspit.
Living in Highcliffe with her partner Steve and grown up girls she can usually be found in the forest or at the beach with Ned the dog.
Carolyne’s favourite sport is cycling and she’s often out on her bike in the New Forest looking for new Queen of The Mountains on Strava!
She loves the sea, nature, animals and chasing sunrises and sunsets!

Debbie Pickering
Debbie was born in Kingsthorpe Northampton in the midlands. Where she lived up until 6 years ago, when she decided to relocate with her two children down to our beautiful, sunny part of the country, Christchurch. She still loves every second of living by the coast, exploring local places and attractions, with the odd tipple in the boathouse!
Since leaving school Debbie’s passion has always been working Reception. She has worked in two previous private dental practices and has over 10 years of dental experience. She has a very warm and empathetic nature, and especially loves putting nervous, anxious patients at ease.
Debbie loves new adventures and experiencing different things, in 2017 she travelled alone to the Azores for a weeks horse riding trek where she explored the small island and even rode around the rim of a volcano on a horse called Fogo! Last year Debbie travelled to Menorca, Amsterdam and Las Vegas, where the highlight of her Vegas trip was taking a helicopter ride down the famous Las Vegas strip.

Charlotte Manion
I come from a Pharmaceutical background but after 16 years I needed a change, so I decided to move over to Dentistry. I have been a Dental receptionist for the past 3 and a half years and I really enjoy trying to make patients dental journey a better experience.
I would describe myself as chatty, caring, and honest. In my spare time I love being outdoors and active — from kayaking on the water to adrenaline-fuelled activities like skydiving or bungee jumping. I love going to concerts whenever I can but when I want something more relaxed, I love taking my labrador Saffie out for long walks.

Ellie Coveney
I was a hairdresser ever since I left school in 2016 so I am very new to the dentist industry and so far loving it, one of the best parts of it is meeting lots of new faces!
I live at home with my mum and dad and I have two older brothers. In my free time I love to spend it with my cocker spaniel called Ralph and going out with my friends for a drink or a few…
I also have a huge passion for baking, my favourites to bake are banana bread and brownies and all the staff certainly enjoy every time I bring them in too! (They’re normally gone by lunch time)

Shabnam Derisi
I came from a teaching background, but in the last five years I changed my career and have
been enjoying the Dental Reception role as I like interacting with people. I recently joined 740
Dental and am very happy and grateful to be here.
The most important people in my life are who I like to spend my spare time with, are my son,
Daughter and Granddaughter.
My hobbies that I enjoy are countryside & sea side walks, cooking (I’ve been told I’m an
exceptional cook ) and travelling.

Vanessa Jeavons
I was born in Barton-on-Sea and have always lived in Christchurch. I have three children who I enjoy spending time with.
I worked at a school in Highcliffe for 10 years in Sixth Form Admin and helping out in student support and reception. I enjoyed being on reception meeting people and this was when I decided I would like to change my career. I started working at a dental practice 3 years ago and enjoy the daily life of dental. I would describe myself as friendly, helpful and sociable.
I am a keen support of AFC Bournemouth and enjoy watching them home and away travelling the country with my family. I also love baking when I have time.
